HT(1) type load cells are low profile. Work with principle of shear beam. They are available in 350 or 700 ohm. The flexure is made of a special alloy steel and it is ideal for low and middle capacity applications. HT(1) load cells were designed for both tension and compression applications. The sensing element is covered with special materials that isolate it from industrial environments. Stainless steel and nickel-plated HT(1) load cells are highly protected from external agents such as rain, dust, water that can make troubles for a good performance. They highly withstand to overloading and to the effects of off-axis loading.

The HT(2) series load cells highly withstand to the effects of off-axis loading caused by wind. For tank and silo applications the mounting accessories are available. HT(2) load cells can be used in testing machine also.

About Weighing System

Weighing system is the key conception in physics. It had its analogues in remote past and is intended for weighing of loads mass. Physically it sounds as weight W is the product of the mass m of the object and the magnitude of the local gravitational acceleration g; thus: W = mg, where W is equal to gravity force of a mass in ground-vertical axis.

There are several methods to use the weighing system which consists of set of measuring instruments. However today is offered more comfortable and accurate the way of weighing. That is load cell. Load cell is the best transducer to display the weight on the screen. Its principle of work bases on strain gage. Strain gage is electronic structure in various sizes and forms for analyzing static and / or dynamic resistance of a system or detached structure.

Load cell works on just a single axis, since it is applied in weighing.
